Local Corona History, one pancake at a time.
Best home town environment for miles around. Great food. Friendly service.
Talk about a home town wonder, this place is it. If you want to have Denny's or Coco's or Mimi's personalities serve you, then go there. This is more like going to your aunt's house for a family reunion. You'll just go take a seat if it's available and if not, you wait on a small bench. Everyone in line is friendly and part of the lore of this place. I especially liked the cornbread pancakes with chili on top. Friendly service, friendly guests, you borrow the sugar off the table next to you and you often see others you know. A great gathering place.
It reminded me of Egg Heaven in Long Beach when I went there as a young college lad. Fun. Layed back.
It burned down and was rebuilt. The people serving you are more like family than a food server. The kids, 3 and 6, loved it. Crowded and noisy, it seemed like home in a way. If you live anywhere near here, go there!

Don't go there.
On the rating it should be an F. Not sure what it was. I thought, ok it has been in town along time so I guess it should be good. Wrong, poor service, horrible food and it was dirty.
I don't recommend it at all. Will never go there again. Disappointed. I have a 7 year old that can't go a day without pancakes. If it would have been good they would have a customer for life. Guess we will go back to McDonalds. Does that tell you how bad they were?
