My New Optometrist. I scheduled an eye exam with Dr. Vo last November. Even without insurance, her prices were reasonable and I also received a great deal on a pair of glasses. The examination was thorough and she allowed ample time for my eyes to adjust, especially important because I have astigmatism. In the past, optometrists have rushed me through prescription slides without knowing definitively if the strength was better or worse. Dr. Vo discovered that my previous prescription was too strong. She corrected the error and suggested the proper type of contact lens to wear. Dr. Vo wrote me a prescription, allowing me to comparison shop online, without pressuring me to buy higher priced lenses through her store.
