Zero star rating! Do not go here!. I was given a script, got my glass's, can not see dash board and at night my vision is clouded by 100's of lights in the lenses. I went to return them for a refund. They will not give refunds, I am stuck with these glass's. I was told I had to make an appointment but that would not guarantee being seen. I was insulted, told I did not make sense, I was made fun of because I limp and walk "funny". The receptionists then tried to steal my glass's, script and receipt. I had to be verbally forceful to get them back. This all happened at the Norwalk office. The "ladies" names are Wendy and Michelle. I would never go this Optometrist. The product is inferior and dangerous to wear, the glass's were handed out filthy and they did not even have me try them on or do any adjustments. Terrible people and business.
Completely Unacceptable!.
I can not believe the lack of organization at this office! I have been a patient there for 2 years now and nothing is ever correct. They take forever to order things such as glasses or contacts and on top of it the quality of the manufacturer they use is ridiculous! I purchased glasses from them about a year and a half ago with the poly carb lenses that i had to pay extra for (which other places like costco etc do not charge for!) and they are supposed to be crack and scratch resistant. They gave me lenses that were cracking all around the frame from them putting the lenses in the frame to tightly! if they are crack resistant why would that matter? They replaced them but it took an additional 3 weeks to get.
On top of that my most resent experience has been a disaster! I waited 45 mins to see the doctor for my exam for which I had an appointment and then was not even able to see the doctor because they wanted me to wait another 5-10 minutes! They even had patients in the waiting room asking and trying to confirm they actually had an appointment because of how long they had been waiting. Then they say they are going to give me a set of lenses to "hold me over until they can get me back in for another appointment"! They offer me lenses that they clearly have in my chart I am ALLERGIC TO! I can not believe how unorganized and completely unacceptable that it! You do not give a patient something you clearly know they are allergic to! I will never go to this office again!
Pass. My first experience was with a dr. other than Fishberg. He made several inappropriate sexual remarks and gave me a wrong prescription. I went back and met with Dr. F., who seemed nice and gave me the correct prescription. When my lenses were switched out, they scratched my frames and were not very understanding as to why I wanted them replaced. (They did do it however...and then scratched them again....I gave up.) Every time I go there, they are frantic looking for lost files for patients. I have made my last trip to that office. I will be looking for a new dr.
Great Optometrist with Great Staff. The staff is always friendly and welcoming; whether I was there to get glasses or contacts. Dr. Fishberg personally helped me with fitting my contacts, and the other doctors helped address my dry eye issue. I've never had any problems with the products or prescriptions I've received, and any time I need my glasses fixed or repaired (lens fell out, missing screw, and mostly these happen because I forget to put my glasses away properly when I'm not using them), they've always fixed/adjusted them when I needed it. Price wise, the exam and cost of glasses/contacts seem reasonable from what I've heard, even if you're not a UCR student. Last time I went in, the techs were eager to make sure that patients understood how to obtain mail-in rebates, and gave them options for how many boxes of contacts they'd need (3-month's supply, half a year, or an entire year). All in all, I've been going to Dr. Fishberg's office for four years, have no complaints, and have recommended his office to my family and friends -- so I'd definitely recommend him for you too.
