Great food & music, nice waitress BUT MANAGER lacks tack. "My negative experience stems from the lack of tack exercized by a manager. We went to the bar area to listen to music and have drinks and tapas. We sat at a big table, where approximately 6 other people were sitting, at the opposite end. The other party eventually left after they finished dining. About 30 minutes later, a manager came up to us and told us the table was reserved for 8, apologized for their mistake in not marking the table. He told us we didn't have to move, but warned us that other people will be coming to the table. 15 minutes later, another manager told us that another party is coming and that we should move. (There were no other tables available where you can see the stage.) I told her that the other manager has already addressed the issue and that we were told we didn't have to move. The other party came and it was evident they were hostile to our sharing the table. Sevilla cannot be faulted for the hostility of their customers but when the manager herself stands there with the customer and kept looking back at us, every 5 minutes or so, the dining experience turned into a hostile negative experience. I felt pressured to not order additional drinks and not to order additional tapas, and to leave. So based on that, I recommend for Sevilla to train their managers better in customer service."
all was perfect!. A Spanish restaurant in a Spanish architecture building from early 1920"s, 24 foot ceiling in the dining room, the place looks amazing. The food is truly outstanding and spanish, tapas, small plates to dream about...live music in the bar ,Gypsy king style, lunch and brunch. You got to try it, nothing else like itin the IE
Editorial Review. Spanish restaurant and nightclub features a tapas bar, dinner shows and Sunday brunch. Catering and private dining room available.
Cool spot for dancing to authentic Spanish music.
Skip the club next door and check out the live Spanish trio in the lounge above the restaurant. It's becoming a hipster hangout. Very cool for the IE.
Wonderful special occasion place. The atmosphere is lovely, the food was excellent, and the service friendly and accommodating (we got there early). Although pricey, the dinner portions were more than generous and very tasty. The two of us shared a combination plate and there was enough to feed 4, maybe more. I look forward to going back.
