Good food - Fair service – Food was very good. Service was fair - unorganized. Don't ask for wine suggestion - they'll recommend the most expensive. Go figure.
real italian food ..... – look like they change everything since 6 months ago , new food , new look , new chef ..
i had the filet mignon in chianti sauce , and it was really good , my wife had the risotto special , saffron and seafood , very good this too , i had the pleasure to talk with the new chef Gianni Pucci , from florence ,italy , this guy know what is doing , great tuscan food , great look ..
Not recommended. Unhappy with food (chicken) and unhappy with service – I would strongly NOT recommend St. James. This is a moderately priced restaurant with smaller than average portions and very poor service. The organic chicken which 3 people of 6 ordered was tasteless and unpleasant. The service was very poor as our waiter was very rude when told of the quality of the food. After eating at this restaurant a couple days ago, my family still jokes how truly poor an experience this was. With many choices in the Palm Springs area, St. James at the Vineyard is one to stay away from.
