Living Spaces Furniture – On January 31,2012 Living Spaces picked up my broken dining room table. I had purchased it only 6 months ago and it was still under warranty. The table support broke and was cracked in the middle so I called the warranty department to make arrangements to have it repaired. Little did I know, I would have to deliver my broken table still under warranty or pay a $50 pick up fee for them to come pick the table up and fix it. Well, it has been 6 weeks now, today is March 12, and I still do not have my table back. Everyday I call Living Spaces warranty department to check the status of the return of my table and everyday I get placed on hold "indefinitely" or I get voicemail. I leave a message everyday and still hear nothing back from them. The warranty department is a joke, they are holding my table hostage. I spent over $700 for nothing because I have to stand to eat every night. The company should pay me back for keeping my table so long. Sure, you walk in the store and think great prices and what a deal but if you have trouble with your product, you are screwed in the long run. DON'T BUY FROM LIVING SPACES FURNITURE
Aweful Delivery Service – The experience inside the store was great. Sales people aren't pushy and we were able to place the order for our bedroom furniture with no problems. The problem came on the delivery side. They were supposed to show up last night between 8 and midnight. Well, they didn't show, didn't call, and now say the best they can do is deliver it tonight between 6pm and 10pm. That would seem all fine and dandy but when I have to be up at midnight to get ready for work it doesn't really fit into my schedule. The guy on the phone didn't even offer a refund. My husband went down to the store and the manager was nice but couldn't do anything to fix the situation. All they could do was refund the delivery charge and give us a 25 dollar gift card. To top it off we will still not be getting our furniture for two more days, and since we cleared out all our furniture already we are going to be sleeping on a blow up air mattress.
Apparently Living Spaces consolidated their distribution warehouses into one location, and the manager said since the consolidation this has been happening quite a bit, so I know there are many other upset customers out there as well.
LIVING SPACES IS A LIVING NIGHTMARE!!!! – I WISH I read these reviews prior to purchasing $3,700 worth of furniture from them. We sold our bed with mattress today because we were supposedly getting out new bedroom set with mattress. I am literally laying on the floor trying to fall asleep. This is ridiculous. I can't believe a company this big can downright LIE. The dispatcher swore up and down that they deliver well into the night even 12 or 1 am. Multiple times they said this and the story changed as ro which call they were on...why?... because the delivery guys obviously went to bed!... and so did the dispatcher after full on lying to me. Also, they don't tell you how the "bed is $$" but then the frame is separate etc. I really hope the quality is okay. I am very concerned as to what I have read about mattresses falling apart, the furniture isn't like the showroom furniture and that you're stuck with it. I am hoping this nightmare ends with just a horrible nights sleep and not multiple nights with no bed and $3700 wasted in junk furniture.
Will not buy from Living Spaces – Does not deserve even 1 star...
The shipping service is deplorable! They lost part of our shipment and never delivered the other piece, nor did they call to let us know what happend.
Last night, a couch was supposed to come between 8 PM and 12 Midnight. No delivery and no phone call. Unacceptable!!
They say they will call you back after they "research" the issue. Don't believe it! It won't happen.
Will not shop here and will advise others not to shop here as well.
LIVING SPACES FURNITURE SUCKS!! – DO NOT BUY anything from the LIVING SPACES chain. the ceo grover geiselman and these stores have the worst customer service and the furniture you get will most likely not be on par with what you see in the showroom. returns?? refunds?? forget about it, once you buy something here your stuck with it!!

Customer Beware: Return Policy is a scam – Bought a sofa with significant wear and tear. Spoke with Manager, customer service and everyone told me the same thing:
- upon purchase - with pickup - I waived all of my return rights including warranties
(upon purchase - even with store delivery - you can only exchange the item, cannot get a full refund)
- supposedly it was my responsibility to inspect the sofa before picking it up.
Each person I spoke with from the company, rehearsed the same scripted responses above, which leads me to believe that this is not a one bad store, but rather a corporate policy.
Of course, I can sue them, or dispute with my credit card, but it is a waste of time. I'm only hoping that this review will help the next person from being victimized from this company. Horrible, horrible customer service. Stay away.
very bad service and warrenty – we took my mother for the 1st time to living spaces and never again will go there or buy any thing from living spaces again. My mom purchased over $10,000dlls worth of furniture for her house, but one problem with 1 of the items that we bought there was a mattress that supost to have 25yrs of warrenty, it was a nightmare. Mattress was defected, after 3days purchasing mattress, called living spaces it was TERRIBLE and a nightmare no one was able to help us got the ran around by eveybody and sadly to MANAGEMENT was even worst. Problem never got solved. DO NOT SHOP THERE.
stay away – We took my took my father to buy new furniture in Rancho. After buying floor model and new furniture totaling 4000$ , we were told when paying two pieces were not available so we could purchase one scratched show room piece for 10% off and purchase a more expensive piece to replace the bookcase. We asked for an additional $15 off of a 4000$ purchase, and the manager refused... They also wanted to charge us delivery twice because two pieces had to be custom ordered. They didn't want to give us 15$ off a 4000$ purchase? It was their fault because they told us the product was in stock and strangely two items had disappeared from store stock in 10 minutes. Also strange that it was a current item when we purchased but 10 minutes later it became discontinued. Terrible customer service from management. This gave us a serious indication of how we would be treated in the future. I also saw many flaws in almost everything there. Glad we walked out after reading these reviews. It wasn't about the money, It was the principle. This was after spending 5 hours there. Totally wasted Fathers day. Salesman was nice, the people who make the decisions dont care about your business one bit, they blew a $4k sales and potential $10K more.
Very Bad Service – Not happy with anything from this store, very bad customer service. Everybody have their own policies. they sent my order 5 times wrong to my place ...same error was done again n again. Very dissapointed with staff espeacially with the managers ADAM and MIKE. i will never refer this store to anybody and i will never go there ever.
LIVING SPACE STINKS!!! – We bought a dining table there. 1 Chair had a nail sticking out. 2 chairs were uneven and one chair had a leather tear. Worst customer service there. They then forgot one our 5 corner chair. They made another appointment with us to deliver the 5th chair and after waiting several hours, we called them and they told us the chair was on back order. Wasted a entire day staying home and nothing shows up. They do not apologize for selling us something that they told us was in stock. We don't like being lied to and not compensate us for all our time wasted. Don't shop here. They have the worst kind of service after you make the purchase. They are NICE to you before you give the $ but once you give them your $. Give your $ to better stores that will take care of you. Screw Them
