Fantastic customer service!. Saturn started off by advertising "A Different Kind of Car Company; A Different Kind of Car." I had decided to make a purchase of this new American upstart. Apparently they have a no-haggle price policy. What I found interesting, however, is that Saturn has (or at least used to have) a 30-day money back guarantee. You could buy the car, and if you didn't like it, you could return it and get your money back. I realized there was an opportunity here: if someone else returns a car to the dealership, it becomes a used car and depreciates in value accordingly. So, I simply told the dealership what kind of car I wanted, and waited. For months. But, my patience paid off because they finally called me to let me know someone returned their car with the exact specifications I requested. I went down and was able to negotiate the price down several thousand dollars and we settled on a price that worked for me. When I finally signed the dotted line, the entire staff came down and clapped for me, and my picture was taken and printed on a calendar for me to take home. The most friendly car-buying experience ever.
